Pete Davidson was born on November 16, 1993, in New York City, New York, United States, to Scott Matthew Davidson and Amy Waters. His father worked for the New York City Fire Department and was one of the emergency workers who died while responding to the September 11, 2001 attacks. Davidson was only seven years then.
